Last year, we attended Toronto’s inaugural lavender wild music festival — the fun-filled sapphic Super Bowl hosted at Echo Beach and headlined by girl in red, Hayley Kiyoko, Daya, the Aces, G Flip, Wreckno and more. Without so much as a word from the festival’s channels since last year’s event, organizers have now returned with plans for another edition.
Still a one-day event, lavender wild is now heading indoors to History. With no lineup or ticketing information to share, the only other details organizers have revealed are its date (August 24) and that it will be a dance party with “artists, DJs, drag performances and more.”
They shared in an Instagram post:
We have some exciting news to share for lavender wild in 2024. lavender wild has always been about the connection of our communities and creating inclusive spaces for us to enjoy music together. After careful consideration, we will be bringing a fresh take on the event with a special lavender wild presents night at HISTORY in Toronto on Saturday, August 24th.
The lineup reveal will take place next Tuesday, June 18. Stay tuned for that via the event’s various channels, including the Instagram account below.
Happy Pride!
